la ronde des lavettes – dishcloth swap

Je viens de participer à ma première ronde du tricot.

Je me suis inscrite à la ronde des lavettes (en fait, je me suis inscrite 2 fois). Le but était de tricoter une lavette et de l’envoyer à notre partenaire avec une pelotte de coton au choix.

Hier soir j’ai reçu une lavette de la part de Kaostling, qui a tricoté une superbe lavette au point “entrelac”. J’aime les couleurs qu’elle a choisi. Kaostling a envoyé une pelotte en coton multi-couleur, jaune, orange, framboise. Elle m’a écrit un petit mot en disant que les couleurs lui rappellent la sauce “salsa” ce qui est parfait pour un résidante du Texas.

I have just participated in a dishcloth swap organized on ravelry. Actually, i signed up to knit 2 dishcloths.

The purpose was to knit a dishcloth and mail it with a ball of  cotton yarn to my swap partner. Another person will be doing the same in return for me. Yesterday, I received a dishcloth from Kaostling, who knitted a beautiful dishcloth in “entrelac”. I love the pattern and i love the yarn she selected.  She included a multi-color yarn – yellow, orange, raspberry – which reminded her of “salsa”, she writes. How appropriate for a Texas resident!
